
After Nottingham Forest's 2-2 draw with Manchester United, a knife attack occurred on the Huntington train that many Forest fans were traveling on. A Forest fan was seriously injured while protecting a young girl. Nottingham Forest Club issued a statement in response to the attack.

Nottingham Forest Club would like to express its deepest concern and heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the horrific attack on the LNER train bound for London.
Many of our local London fans are taking this train home after the game and our thoughts are with all those involved in this tragic incident.
The Club is aware of the extraordinary courage shown by many individuals, which has undoubtedly helped to prevent more serious harm, and the entire Nottingham Forest family will stand firmly behind them in their recovery from yesterday's events.
Club owner Marinakis said: "All members of Nottingham Forest are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred. The courage and selflessness shown by our supporters on the train embodies the noblest humanity and the most precious club community spirit."
