Burnley Football Club officially announced that forward Ashley Barnes has renewed his contract with the team for one year and will continue to play for Moore Stadium.

Barnes, 35, has played more than 300 times for Burnley Club, including a record of 42 Premier League goals in 200 top league games. Barnes became the core figure of the team in the second half of last season, and made 16 appearances to help Burnley successfully enter the Premier League.
Barnes, who was promoted from the Championship for the fourth time with the team last season, has long been well known for his years of playing in the Premier League with Burnley.
