The Daily Mail reported that Tottenham and Manchester City have had further talks on Savigno’s transfer.
It is reported that Tottenham Hotspur held further negotiations with Manchester City on Saturday on a potential deal for winger Savignho. Last week, the Brazilian player's agent had flew to the UK from South America to push for a deal. Savignho himself is also eager to facilitate the transfer to fulfill his desire to become a regular Premier League starter before next year's World Cup.
Tottenham previously turned their main goal to Eze and believed that they were about to sign the Crystal Palace star, but was successfully intercepted by Arsenal.
Savignho missed Manchester City's first two games of the season, including a 0-2 loss to Tottenham. Tottenham is preparing to offer the 21-year-old Brazilian winger more than £60 million. If Manchester City accepts the offer, the players are willing to join. After missing Eze, Tottenham also showed interest in West Ham's attacking midfielder Paqueta. Tottenham's other potential targets include Akliushe in Monaco.
