In the UEFA Nations League final, Portugal defeated Spain 5-3 through a penalty shootout and successfully won the championship. Portuguese player Bernardo Silva was interviewed after the game. During the game, a fan fell from the stands and died. Bernardo Silva first said: "I just learned that someone had passed away. If I remember correctly, it was from the third floor to the second floor. I expressed my condolences to his family. It was a tragedy. It was always very sad to hear such news on such a wonderful day." Bernardo Silva continued: "As we expected, it was a difficult game, our resilience, our hard work , the belief that persists until the end makes things different. After the penalty shootout, we got what we wanted - the UEFA Champion."

Finally, Bernardo Silva said: "We are very proud, this is another champion, and we all want to win this championship. In the locker room we talked about the aggressiveness necessary to win the final, which is crucial considering the strength of our opponent Spain. We are very proud of the efforts to achieve this great goal."
