Selling a dog is not random. Dog owners will also look at whether the dog owner really loves dogs. It turns out that I have been operating at the Shiling Pet Market in Chengdu for several years. There is a branch of Sichuan Normal University nearby. If I sell dogs outside the school gate, the business will definitely be very good. But I never go to campus to sell dogs, and I try to persuade college students not to buy dogs. I also try not to sell dogs to college students. There are two reasons. First, the living conditions and living conditions of college students are not suitable for raising dogs, and they cannot raise dogs well; second, raising dogs distracts energy and delays studies.

In the dog market, there are experts who know about dogs. They use their golden eyes to buy good dogs and make a fortune quietly. There are also some ignorant rich people who fall in love with dogs at first sight, and they are so fond of dogs that money cannot buy them, and the value of the dogs doubles instantly! There is no distinction between good and bad, just buy what you like.

Ten years ago, when I was still in Shiling Pet Market, I once had a Shetland Sheepdog with tricolor flowers. It was very beautiful. It was named Ah Si. It was smart and well-behaved. Later, the craze for the Shetland Sheepdog gradually faded out of people’s sight, and I couldn’t sell it for money, so I still kept it by my side. Over time, the dog has become very obedient. When he hears my voice outside the door, he will run out to greet me. Si also wears an apron and feeds me with a spoon when eating. One day, a family got off an Audi A6 and took a fancy to my dog. At that time, I didn’t really want to sell it. The family looked left and right and still liked Ah Si. After much hard work, they finally bought it for 20,000 yuan. On the way back, the family called me and asked: By the way, what breed is this dog? Spending 20,000 yuan to buy a dog of unknown breed is not only the behavior of wealthy people, but also the way to love dogs.

In the past 30 years, some celebrity dogs have emerged in the dog market. One of the "Three Brothers of the Li Family", Li Yongle, has a Pekingese called Pipi, and the chocolate-colored giant VIP we are talking about today is also a dog. At the Shiling Pet Trading Market in 2006, Lao Mo sold a giant VIP back from other places. Giant VIPs were very popular at that time. From the perspective of coat color, body shape, posture, and spirit, Lao Mo’s dog was impeccable! This giant poodle was pregnant at the time, and it would be a big business once she bought her back and gave birth to puppies! It was very lively at that time, people looked at it, took pictures, and finally sold it for 450,000 yuan. This was also the highest transaction price I have witnessed in the Chengdu dog market in the past 30 years. The price was paid and delivered at the same time. Everyone in Chengdu who feeds giant poodles knows this.

This time, the Sanlian pet trading market became a hit, and all my hard work of more than ten years was wiped out. Really good dogs are hard to buy even if you have money, you have to try your luck. For example, the black Schnauzer I raised before was the only one on the market. Its coat color, appearance, and shape were all top-notch. Now it would take more than half a year to organize a new batch of dogs.
