Tottenham Hotspur officially announced that it had signed its first professional contract with young player Luca Williams-Barnett (Luca Williams-Barnett ). Barnett just turned 17 this Wednesday and he plays as an attacking midfielder.
Barnett was just an U10 player when he joined Tottenham, and now he has performed very well in the youth training camp. Last season, despite being an apprentice, Barnett performed outstandingly in the U18 echelon, scoring long-range goals against West Ham, Leicester City and Villa, among which the goal against Leicester City was named the U18 Premier League season's best goal.
Barnett also scored a hat-trick in the 2024-25 U17 Premier League Cup final, helping the team beat Charlton and completing his first hat-trick in the U21 echelon in his last 6-3 win over Leicester City. Barnett made his senior debut by making his first team substitute four times last season and made his post-season debut in a 3-0 home win over Doncaster Rangers in the League Cup last month. So far, he has represented the England national team in competitions of all ages from U15 to U18.
