According to multiple sources, Arsenal will soon sign Maduaike from Chelsea for £52 million. The deal is expected to bring substantial transfer profits to Chelsea.

The Guardian pointed out that Chelsea was fined 31 million euros last week for violating fiscal fair competition rules. So they need to increase their revenue by selling players.

Chelsea spent 35 million euros to introduce Maduaike from Eindhoven in January 2023, and is now selling it for 52 million pounds (about 60.24 million euros), with a transfer profit of more than 25 million euros.

As for the reason for the sale of Maduaike, the Guardian revealed that Chelsea believes that Maduaike has made less progress since joining. He only played a small role in the team in this Club World Cup and is unlikely to participate in the Club World Cup final against Paris on the weekend.
