Manchester United hopes to strengthen the No. 9 lineup this summer after signing Cunha and Mbemo. However, with Drapp and Yorkress transfers to Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, Manchester United's options have become limited. Despite reports that Manchester United can't afford the cost of signing Benjamin Cesco from Leipzig, Romano said United still has a chance and revealed some details about the young forward's transfer.

Romano said on his YouTube channel that the next week would be crucial to Sesco's transfer and revealed that Newcastle is also actively pushing the deal. Italian reporters also mentioned that Manchester United is still discussing the 22-year-old Cesco, but he pointed out that for some teams that Cesco believes are "special clubs", his transfer fee can be reduced to 70 million to 80 million euros fixed, plus an additional clause of 5 million to 10 million euros. If this gentleman agreement applies to Manchester United, the Red Devils could sign him for about £65 million, which is still a high price, but more realistic than the previously mentioned figures.

Romano also explained that the gentleman agreement between Sesco and Leipzig was different from that in Yorke. Despite reports that the Swedish striker had a similar agreement with Portugal, the club's chairman accused Yorke's agent of lying, causing the transfer process to be complicated. Fortunately, if United pursued Cesco based on this gentleman agreement, similar problems would not appear to be a problem, as the relationship between players, agents and clubs is very good.

Manchester United needs to avoid the drag of the summer transfer market, while also focusing on selling players to raise funds in order to be able to complete deals like Sesco.
