Villa officially announced that captain McGinn has renewed his contract with the club until 2028.
McGinn's original contract expired in 2027. Villa issued an announcement confirming a contract extension with the 31-year-old Scottish midfielder. The new contract will last until 2028.
McGinn joined Villa from Hibernian for a transfer fee of 3.1 million euros in 2018. He has played 299 games for Villa so far, scoring 33 goals and assisting 41 times.
