Eze s free kick hits! VAR intervenes in the referee on the spot and is invalid: the attacking party is too close to the human wall

In the first round of the Premier League, Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace, in the 13th minute of the game, Eze directly scored a free kick! VAR intervened, and the referee made a judgment to the audience on the spot: After VAR review and confirmation, the No. 6 player of Crystal Palace (Gei) was less than one meter away from the wall at the moment of shooting. Therefore, the goal of this ball was invalid and the indirect free kick was awarded.

IFAB official rules: When three or more defensive players form a "man wall", all offensive players must be at least 1 meter away from the "man wall" until the game starts again.
