There are still a lot of people raising dogs now, so more and more people are paying more attention to the health of dogs. Sometimes we find that dogs tremble, but not all dogs tremble for the same reason. Today we will take a look at it.

1. Nervous and scared

If the puppy has just arrived home or is suddenly frightened, and is in a nervous and fearful mood, it will curl up in a corner and tremble all the time. If this is the case, it is recommended that the owner gently strokes the dog to calm the dog's mood, or use snacks or toys to divert the dog's attention. Generally, the dog will recover in 3-5 minutes.

2. Cold

If it is in cold winter or when the temperature drops, the cold air stimulates the body, which will cause the dog to tremble. At this time, the owner needs to take measures to keep the dog warm. He can increase the temperature of the room or put some warm clothes in the kennel. He can also cover the dog with a light quilt, and when going out, the owner can dress the dog well.

3. Body pain and discomfort

Dogs will also tremble all the time when they are in pain or discomfort, such as surgery, trauma, fractures, bruises, etc. In this regard, the owner can carefully check the dog's body to see if there is any trauma, or if the dog reacts violently when touching a certain part, etc. If it is surgery, the owner can take the dog to the pet hospital for analgesic injections. If it is trauma or internal injury, then the owner needs to take the dog to the pet hospital for examination and treatment.

4. Causes of disease

If the dog is accompanied by other abnormal symptoms in addition to shivering, it is likely that the shivering is caused by disease. For example, in addition to shivering, dogs suffering from canine distemper will also be accompanied by symptoms such as coughing, fever, and runny nose. Dogs suffering from epilepsy will also have symptoms such as convulsions, foaming at the mouth, and even falling to the ground in addition to shivering. If this is the case, it is more dangerous and requires prompt medical treatment, otherwise the dog's life may be in danger.
