Digestion is one of the most common physical discomforts in dogs. After the dog has diarrhea, it should be given some soft and fine foods that are easy to digest and absorb to prevent foods that are solid and difficult to digest and absorb can stimulate the gastrointestinal tract again. However, sometimes dogs will still have diarrhea again after eating soft and fine foods. So what should the owner do to make it better after the dog has diarrhea?

1, Foods eaten

Generally speaking, diarrhea in dogs is closely related to the foods eaten. If a dog has diarrhea, it is possible that it may be difficult to digest and absorb solid foods; eat due foods; eat too much to damage the gastrointestinal tract; check the trash can and should not eat or are irritating foods.

When a dog has diarrhea, it should eat some soft and fine foods, such as milk cakes, nutritional paste, meat porridge, and soft dog food soaked in small water. These foods are easier to digest and absorb and are not easy to irritate the gastrointestinal tract. Prevent eating solid foods that are not easy to digest and absorb. You should also pay attention to the feeding method, feed small and multiple meals, and do not let the dog overeat.

2. If the dog has mild diarrhea, it is still possible to eat some soft and fine foods. If the diarrhea is severe, similar to water, it is recommended to give the dogs no food first. The time varies from most of the day to day. Give the gastrointestinal tract a period of rest to prevent re-irritation. And I don’t know what food the dog eats will feel even more uncomfortable. It’s not good to give the dog food at this moment.

Don't ban drinking during the meal period, and ensure sufficient drinking water to prevent the dog from getting dry. Prepare neat and warm water for the dog in advance, guide it to drink correctly, and add probiotic powder to the water for the dog to drink together.

3, pay attention to keeping warm

If the dog often lie on the wooden floor or on the floor tiles, the abdomen will be very prone to cold, and it will be very prone to diarrhea after the stomach catches cold. Even if the dog has diarrhea due to other reasons, it will be more serious if it lies on the wooden floor at this moment when it catches cold and causes diarrhea after catching a cold stomach.

Therefore, owners must pay attention to keeping the dog warm, letting the dog sleep in the dog's nest, or giving it a blanket and sleeping on the blanket to prevent the abdomen from directly touching the cold wooden floor. If the temperature is too cold, you must also cover the dog with a mattress.
